On more than one occasion I have been left shocked by the poor service provided. In 2019 when asking for some help with declining mental health I was told that it was very fashionable to have anxiety and depression in England, that it's very popular! I was also told that I could be prescribed medication but the only person that can make me better is me - just try to be happier! This year after stating that having toenails covered by dressings for over 6 months was the probable cause of the fungal infection, I was told it's because I wear socks too much, and that people in this country always wear socks too much ... Completely ignoring what was said about dressings, and completely ignoring the original query... Why is my healing so delayed following minor surgery?! They don't read notes, asking instead why you take medication that they provide prescriptions for, and don't know how to use / read messages on the Ask my GP app. ask for a video call they can't do it, ask for a phone call they don't do it, instead giving diagnosis via the chat option, but not allowing you to respond because the chat is closed by them every time you message so additional requests have to be sent. It's no wonder the system becomes overloaded and you are told they can't cope with the volume and you'll get a response in the next 3 days! Absolutely shocking service and care. I wouldn't recommend this surgery to anyone.
