"Impossible to contact"

Appointments in person are no longer available. Phone appointments can be booked only during a 30mins slot per week on the phone, and it's impossible to get the line. It's also impossible to book a phone appointment in person. The clinic promotes eConsult, whose platform doesn't work (tech issues). I know there is a pandemic, but other GPs in London are doing a far, far better job. It's also impossible to get in touch with the Practice Manager to discuss all of this.

Dear Dario,

I was very sorry to have read your comment on NHS choices. We have been reviewing our appointment system and are in the process of making changes to make access easier. Patients will no longer need to call on a Thursday for appointments to be released, appointments will now be available every week, and these will be a combination of face to face and telephone calls. Unfortunately, econsult is a service commissioned to us and we do not have any control when thier platform is experiencing technical issues. I can only apologise that this service did not work for you on this occasion. I am sorry if you feel that the practice is not meeting your needs or expectations. Please be assured we try to provide the best service to our patients. However, I fully understand your frustrations in trying to make an appointment to see a GP at the practice. If I am not available to speak to over the phone, patients are more than welcome to write to me via email or letter and we can arrange a convenient time for us to speak over the phone.
