"Staff eating pizza while on duty"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

This is a reworded review because LRI refused to publish the original review which they LEI was too specific...so this is the non specific version. If any managers wish to contact me for more specific information they may do so.

First of all may I complement the nursing team in Ward *** (unnamed as LRI rules state I cannot be specific because of libel rules) for the work they did with my terminally ill mother.

Secondly, I would like to make managers of LRI aware that on my visit a member of staff, while interacting with visitors and patients, was seen to be eating a huge pizza in a public place. Surely you have staffrooms or canteens for this purpose. It gives a poor impression of an organisation whose managers allow this to happen and it is not appropriate in a hospital situation where good hygiene is important.
