"Calling duty nurse when feeling suicidal"

I called the duty nurse and told her that I had being having thoughts of overdosing and was about to get tablets to overdose on. She told me that she’d spoken to me earlier in the week and had contacted my GP which hardly seemed relevant. She told me that I’d called 111 during the night which again hardly seemed relevant and she told me that she’d talk to me later when my support worker was there.

I overdosed on the tablets and ended up in hospital. I’m not sure whether it’s acceptable to tell someone who’s feeling suicidal that you’ll just talk to them later but it definitely wasn’t helpful. It made me feel completely hopeless and I still do. If I ever start feeling so low again and that is all that’s there to protect me I really don’t have much hope. She just seemed annoyed that I’d called. 

There is no point complaining about this place and whilst taking an overdose was ultimately my decision, I was asking for help and I got the opposite. She didn’t even call back later.
