"Concerning amount of mixed decisions"

My girlfriend was supposed to have surgery today, which she has waited 8 months for. Unfortunately on Sunday she started having severe stomach pains and I managed to persuade her to go to the docs on Monday. She was sent straight to Glos hospital with details of her blood tests. Fast forward 18 hours, 3 different diagnosis' and she's walking out with antibiotics for appendicitis and has had her operation cancelled.

The care she was provided whilst she waited was good but the doctors need a serious review of how they communicate with each other. It's a shambles.

We could've been out within 2 hours max and made the surgery today.
