"Exceptional ambulance response & ED care."

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a service user),

My Mum had a severe angina attack, I called 999, from the calm call handler, talking us through taking aspirin, reassuring & reiterating help was on it’s way to the professional caring & friendly paramedics Simon & Ryan. Detailing all their investigations, ensuring my Mum’s comfort. Giving her options & taking her opinion into consideration.   Their exceptional care made a stressful time so much easier-I send grateful thanks to them.

Also our thanks go to the Emergency Department at FVRH, for their care & updates when we called. My mum said her continual observations, bloods& X-rays made her feel safe& looked after. Special thanks to Tracey who showed such kindness during her time there, bringing my Mum safely out to us. Also to the Student Nurse .

She was also delighted her paramedics checked in on her , when they brought other patients in!

From the start of the attack to returning home it was 6 hours.

Our fabulous NHS-thank you! 💕
