"Excellent service and friendly staff"

After being completely let down by my GP, I visited the urgent care centre when my UTI symptoms worsened. The reception staff were really helpful and took time to listen to your symptoms. I thought I would be waiting hours and hours at a walk in centre but I was seen quite quickly which surprised me. I had been waiting 6 days for the GP to offer me antibiotics for a UTI, and I got a result for an infection in minutes here. The nurse was so understanding and even when I had an issue picking my prescription up from the pharmacy she offered her help and sorted it for me. When you’re feeling unwell it is so reassuring to know there are nurses who are happy to help rather than making you feel like a burden. I was really happy with the treatment here- now if GP surgery’s could operate like this, then maybe these urgent care centres wouldn’t be so stretched and could focus on actual urgent matters that they are designed for.
