A nonsense service at the expense of patient care; all a cost cutting exercise pretending to be more efficient than direct referrals to hospital - I blame a lack of leadership and governance and the absence of quality control. I must wait 8 weeks for MRI, in agony, have osteoporosis, but told all clinicians are doing covid vaccinations, so I can't have the initial conversation with a clinician to establish the appropriate next steps. Logged a complaint, told 30 days before aknowledged, asked twice for a manager call back, not heard from anyone - utter non professionalism and a pretend service trying to save money at patients expense.
Patients need clarity of the process, reassurance they will be seen in a timely way, meaningful communication and direction; otherwise mistrust occurs and a desperate feeling of exclusion from healthcare services.
