"Stonebridge Nottingham miscommunication"

About: Adult Mental Health Services - Community (City) / City South Local Mental Health Team (LMHT) The University of Nottingham Health Service

(as a service user),

I was referred to the Stonebridge centre by my GP from Cripp's health centre. I rang Stonebridge who said that the letter my GP wrote was unclear and I needed to be re-referred. After speaking to management the duty mental health nurse at Stonebridge told me to go to an ADHD assessment with Cripp's healthcare that I was due anyway and a) get them to do what I had been referred to Stonebridge for and b) said they would definitely be able to refer me back to Stonebridge if they weren't able to do a). This was completely untrue. The mental health nurse has now referred me back to my original GP in order to refer me to Stonebridge again. I am exhausted.

GP at Cripps-> Stonebridge --> nurse at Cripps--> GP at Cripps --> Stonebridge.

Final step pending.

I was told over the phone by the duty nurse at Stonebridge to get my Dr to refer me again with a "clearer" letter. Stating that all I wanted was an assessment not treatment. He sent this new letter over a month ago and I have yet to hear anything from Stonebridge.
