About: Wheatfield Surgery

What a disgraceful surgery,to the point myself and my partner have left. I can't believe the difference between the surgery I am at now,professional and efficient to how Wheatfield is.

Someone in the reception is rude and has I dont care attitude.!When I can actually get through I spend 30mins just on hold waiting to speak to someone and then you have to tell them what your issue is,so I explained I had found a lump in my breast,but was told I will get a call from a Dr in 4 weeks,what a joke. I'm pretty sure something like this is not something to just be left,I asked about this and was told just to wait or just wait or try again in the morning,nothing was checked to see if something else could be done

When I eventually got seen for my smear appointment, 3 months after my initial letter came,which I acted on straight away, I informed the nurse about the lump and she even said that's something that should of not just been left, she actually went to a dr who then saw me.Finally someone who cares.

The reception need to realise that people are generally calling the surgery as they have a concern and are worried about something and a little empathy would go a long way,people don't need a rude unhelpful person on the other line.The wait is a joke as it is but to then be greeted by a rude receptionist on the other end,really is infuriating.

I emailed the surgery about the whole number of issue I have had and was told this had been passed over to the practice manager and would be in touch.Surprise,still waiting for this call
