(as a service user),

While in daisy hill I received

 top quality care from the midwives and auxiliaries  firstly when I was admitted with sepsis while pregnant and again when I went into labour. They made myself and my partner feel very safe and comfortable. It was a nervous time as this was our first baby. A big thank you to all the staff in delivery and up in the maternity ward. An extra big thank you to liz and ruth - midwives in delivery! They made the whole experience brilliant with their great craic!

Thankyou for your lovely post on Care Opinion about your care in Daisy Hill Maternity.

The fact that you felt safe and comfortable when you were being treated for sepsis during your pregnancy will mean a lot to the staff who strive to give the best care possible.

I will share your post with the midwives and support in Delivery Suite and Maternity Ward and I am delighted that your experience overall was 'brilliant and top quality' and included some 'good craic'!
