I was at my very lowest with alcoholism, consuming around 400 units per week, suffering horrendous bouts of depression and personality problems, I was on the verge of being homeless, incarcerated or possibly even hospitalisation to save my life, then I went to CGL,
they assessed me and then my recovery journey began one of which would be my salvation in every walk of life including my sanity and life.
I attended numerous groups of EBI, Smart and foundations and underwent detox both ambulatory and residential whilst continuing my therapy with CGL.
I am now currently 250 days sober from my last residential detox admission and currently working on relapse prevention and recovery through foundations.
I am forever grateful to CGL, and in particular Jack, Anthony, Veronica and Chandni, all of whom have supported me unconditionally to finally recover and embrace sobriety, save and change my life around, without their support I would have lost everything, now I am so happy and at peace with life and also again with the help of Chandni we are exploring my psychological issues to maintain my recovery and get further help from mental health services with secondary investigation.
I will be forever indebted to CGL and sincerely hope they continue offering their support and services as they currently do with the same staff and facilitators as cgl because I feel any drastic changes to their support network and protocol could have a very negative and harmful effect on my recovery and mental health.
CGL are so professional, polite, supportive and understanding with a fantastic variety of therapy, groups and activities, please may it continue as CHANGE, GROW, LIVE because I certainly have because of them.
