"Dental Service provided"

About: Kings Street Dental Access Centre

(as a service user),

I required a tooth extraction, my first one ever and I was worried about it. However I came to find that I couldnt fault the service provided. My assigned emergency dentist and dental nurse (who identified themselves as "The A Team") provided both an amazing service and care for me as someone experiencing a dental procedure for the first time. My initial worries were put to rest right away, they explained the procedure very well, they hear dmy concerns and responded with reassuring facts and benefits of the procedure that eased my worries. They only did things that I felt comfortable with and would only proceed with the procedure if I felt no pain in my upper right mouth where they were performing the tooth extraction, I felt no pain, the dentist gave me a break during procedure and relaxed my jaw and cheeks by massaging it and played music to distract me. They really represent the NHS for what it is and what it should be!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recent experience at the Dental Access Centre. It is always appreciated by the team to hear how they have helped someone overcome their nervousness about a procedure.
