"Trying to get someone to call me back"

About: Queen Marys Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

Trying to get someone to call me back as no one ever answers the phone. I feel really neglected and useless as I am under the pain management team and have lost my letter so I cannot give number etc.   I was contacted in January and had a really nice chat about my problems and they said they would soon get back to me regarding further treatment but as yet I have heard nothing so am wondering if I have been lost in the system I am feeling so down and worried as not sure what step to take next as my doctor said to contact the pain clinic which has not been very helpfull as no one replies. I badly need help

Dear Anny. I am very sorry to hear that you are having such problems getting in touch with the pain management team. Can I suggest that you contact the PRUH Patient Advice and Liaison team who also look after QMS. Here are the contact details: Tel: 01689 863252 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (not bank holidays).

Email: kch-tr.palspruh@nhs.net Kind regards.
