"Immunotherapy Clinic"

About: Woodend Hospital / Ear, nose, throat, head & neck surgery outpatients

(as a service user),

I have been attending Dr Ram's Immunotherapy Clinic  for Pollinex injections for the last 14months. The staff have been fantastic, very friendly & welcoming. Unfortunately I have to travel some distance to attend this clinic but it has been worth it. I still have another year of treatment to have in 2022 but already I have felt a big difference in my hayfever & asthma symptoms. Summer & Autumn 2020 were the best my asthma has been for several years and I was even able to reduce my steroid inhaler dose for the first time ever. I am confident that this treatment is going to make a big difference to my health & my life.

Dear Tangerinetwirly,

Sounds like you are making progress! Summer is a lovely time of year for most people but when you have allergies it’s a time of dread - having to stay indoors when everyone else is out and making sure you don’t leave the house without a full bag of equipment to deal with the symptoms. I’m glad last year was easier for you and hope things continue to improve.

I have passed on your kind words to Dr Ram who I’m sure will share with his fantastic, friendly and welcoming staff.

Take care,

Kirsten
