"I'm just nervous about it all"

I was booked in for pre assessment for a cystoscopy, but I was currently an inpatient on that day and they refused to me so I was then booked back in, I had the pre assessment, but I’ve been waiting ages to hear back when the cystoscopy will go ahead. I haven’t heard anything from urology and anytime I phone the day surgery unit I get the voicemail. I leave my name and number to be called back. I’m having it done under general anaesthesia, I’m just nervous about it all, constant worrying because I don’t know when it’ll be done, I just want it over and done with.
