Over a number of year I've had to be taken into NHS Hospitals in various areas of UK. I am writing this re most recent visits to Ayr Hospital. I want to praise station 9 Ayr Hospital on my recent stay in there.
I came by 999 Ambulance to the hospital. Re my blacking out in house. A visiting physio that day realised how unwell I was. She was attending me on follow up after my earlier Hospitalisation in Ayr and Biggart Hospitals where I stayed for several weeks. I've been in station 9.
I wish to say the staff at all levels in ward 9 are all exemplary. Their manner and ability are brilliant. Their handling of patients of all ages and illnesses unbelievable. All work together like I. They are all aware re covid restrictions. I'd like to name a nurse and also her 3rd year training nurse she is responsible for. The Responsible Nurse is Cheryl HHO is excellent at her responsibilities for the teaching and guidance of student nurse Tammy who has learned greatly from her. When both on together its unbelievable and when Tammy works herself she is so good and careful.
As regards the doctor responsible forward Dr Gillen what can I say he is brilliant at all he does. He is my doctor looking after me for 6/7 years and has got me through bad times. His manner on approach to all patients is great he identifies himself, tells why he is there. Explains all clearly gives his belief and honest opinion. He in my opinion is liked and respected by many patients. I hold him in high regards as have many patients I've spoke to.
I wish to let people know station 9 is a great caring well run ward helpful staff all levels
I wish to thank them for all they have done for me.
"A great caring well run ward"
