"Telephone consultation"

I received a telephone call just a bit late by the scheduled time. There had been some confusion because I was originally told it was to be face-to-face but I was then told, today, by email (on checking), that it would be a telephone-consultation only. The consultation itself was conducted in a professional but friendly manner, and useful points for a letter from the Hospital to my GP were discussed and agreed.
