About: Riverlyn Medical Centre

Great Receptionist!!!!!

Always helpfull!Unfortunately BAD doctors.

My daughter has had a stomach problem for over six months. All she has heard is not to worry about it because it is normal and take paracetamol. We asked many times for a stomach scan and nothing.

We heard that we can do it privately.

We did because there was no other option. It turns out there is a polyp on the gallbladder and hence sometimes yellow spots on the skin and you feel bad.

I will not mention pain.

We proved that we were right.Doctors are there to listen, first of all, not to make people idiots.

The patient knows exactly what hurts him.

All my daughter has heard is to take paracetamol, think positively and not worry! What if, for example, she had cancer?

In this case, the patient proved that he was right, but the doctor unfortunately does not understand it and continues to suggest magic paracetamol.

The main thing is not to worry, you can live with pain as you can see.

Same....

Thank you for the positive comments for our Reception staff.

With regards the doctors; referrals were made, but both the referrals for U/S were rejected. Multiple recent A&E discharge summaries did not mention this diagnosis. Since the suggested polyp, we have further made a referral to Children & Adolescent Services.

We are sorry for the upset this has caused. You are welcome to contact us directly if you wish to discuss this further.
