Asthma nurse rang me for yearly check up in December 20. This was carried out over the phone due to COVID-19. I asked about the Covid Pfizer vaccine being suitable for me with severe allergies (news of anaphylactic reactions). She took time to enquire about the nature of allergies and explained she that it was a question for my GP and that she would ask her. She also said I’d tolerated annual flu jab and generally made me feel less anxious. Nurse also gave me advice about allergy testing and arranged rast blood tests. She continued the care with follow up phone calls.
