I am a long standing patient of the Practice and was very concerned to read of the poor CQC Inspection recently. This did not reflect my experience of the practice over many years and particularly over the past couple of years, when I have used various services. I have always found both the professional medical and administrative staff helpful, responsive, knowledgeable and caring.
I do think the Practice has issues with its telephone system that need to be resolved and can vouch that this does cause patients frustration that probably leads to escalation of complaints that would probably otherwise not be made - no doubt this is linked to the ever rising population in the Brentford area and a need meeting rising demand and is clearly an issue in progress.
However I have continuously over the past 2 years and throughout the pandemic, had to contact the Surgery for an array of services including advice re Covid positive test, repeat prescription, annual health review, blood tests, advice and referrals for x rays and physio etc.
Throughout I have found the GPs excellent - responsive, skilled and caring, the systems efficient, the Nurses at the practice are also very caring and professional and I was impressed to have been recently offered a preventative Healthcheck in the midst of the pandemic. The reception staff are also very helpful and efficient and young and smart!
I feel this practice is helping me to remain healthy and active and is providing excellent preventative care to help keep me mobile, healthy and fit.
I do hope that this feedback is useful, as I did feel compelled to add my very positive experiences to balance out the recent poor inspection report and hope that this is useful.
