A visit as an outpatient to a large and unfamiliar hospital can be a daunting prospect to a 90 year old with poor eyesight, so I wish to take this opportunity of thanking the staff of Ninewells Hospital who made my visit there last week so smooth and supportive. Members of staff went out of their way to guide me to my destination and once within the Dermatology Department itself I was welcomed warmly. As soon as I met Practitioner Nurse Anne I realised I was in very safe hands. She took me through the procedure step by step explaining in detail what was involved. She and her two assistants made me feel comfortable and well cared for. The hour long operation was completely painless and professionally executed. And I have made three new friends!
Thank you Ninewells Hospital who even in these difficult times proved that the medical profession is providing excellent care.
