"My experience from GP to PPH."

About: Prince Philip Hospital

(as a service user),

One day at the end of February at 2pm I went to see my GP with breathing problems by 2:30pm I was admitted to PPH with possible heart problems as I have past history of heart attacks.

I was admitted to ward 4. I have never had such excellent treatment in all the years I have been ill. The staff on ward 4 were the nicest kindest and most knowledgeable staff I have ever known. I was only in ward 4 for 3 days in that time I had tests x-rays scans and diagnosed with lung cancer. Since being diagnosed I have returned for further tests and am awaiting the results as I write. I am 70 years of age and feel I have had the best service that anyone could ever wish for. 

Thank you to everyone at PPH for the magnificent way I was treated and treatment to come.
