"Rude receptionists "

About: Stopsley Village Practice

Had a perianal abscess surgery in the same place 3 times because it kept coming back and this time the surgeon told me to get my dressing changed at the GP for everyday for 3 weeks and show them the discharge letter but the gp won't give me an appointment until friday and its Tuesday today. Gp told me to travel 25 minutes to the hospital and get the dressing changed. How do they expect me to sit for 25 minutes. Seems like they want my abscess to keep coming I dont know why? Doctor very nice person But the receptionists are the worst.

They wouldn't even connect us to the doctors to speak about the situations. Everytime I asked them to speak to the doctor receptionists kept on saying I had a word with my colleague her fellow receptionist since when she become a doctor. I'm definitely changing my GP and will not refer anyone here. Managements really needs to change the receptionists they are rude, never see them smile and not the nicest ways to treat patients. If they dont like the job then they should find a job they like. Why make bad names for the surgery.
