About: South Tyrone Hospital / Day Clinical Centre

(as a service user),

I attend the day clinical centre at the Dungannon Hospital, every 8 weeks for a vedolizumab infusion.  This infusion is a treatment that I get that ensures my crohns disease remains in remission.

I have to say the facilities here are absolutely excellent.  There is sufficient space to enable social distancing within the treatment room, which I believe is beneficial for patients like myself who have a weaker immune system, especially given the covid pandemic that is ongoing.  The staff are excellent and very helpful.

We are very fortunate to be working in an area where we have the space to ensure that social distancing is always adhered to, and we have received a lot of positive feedback similar to yours expressing how reassured people are by this.

Throughout this Covid 19 pandemic our goal has been to continue delivering these vital treatments in a safe environment, and it is reassuring to read you describe your experience as 'fantastic'.
