About: South Tyrone Hospital / Day Clinical Centre

(as a service user),

My daughter attends STH for her infusions.  We both feel very safe coming into the ward because all safety procedures during COVID are being followed. 

We would definitely feel safer staying in STH because of the higher levels of COVID infections in CAH.
Staff are all fantastic, making us feel at ease.  Services are great and very convenient.
Thanks to all the staff for all their continued work.

Thankyou for taking the time to share your story on care opinion, it is encouraging to read your positive feedback.

During this Covid19 Pandemic we have aimed to continue delivering the vital treatments that couldn't be put on hold, such as your daughters, in a safe environment. This, as you have rightly mentioned, involved us implementing new safety procedures, and also moving to a new environment where social distancing can be maintained at all times.

With all these changes taking place it is reassuring to read that you both feel safe attending, and I will ensure that all the staff in the Day Clinical Centre are aware of your positive comments, and will pass on your words of thanks to all the team.
