"I am advancing"

About: Whiteabbey Hospital / Nightingale Wards

(as a service user),

I came from AAH to Whiteabbey Nightingale for further rehabilitation after catching Covid19. There is a pleasant atmosphere here. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. I get the chance to facetime home since there no visitors which is good.

I feel like I'm advancing in physiotherapy and speech therapy (for swallowing).

It is kept very clean. The whole place is scrubbed well. Good Good. The nutrition supplements are not nice but they are good for me.

I am in a side room and it can be too hot in here at time. I always like a bit of fresh air, if I'm not keeping an eye they shut the windows, but if I ask they will open them for me again.

I have plenty of activities to engage in because there's always someone to come see you, like physio who get you up to do work. Everything is going well I have no complaints.

Hello, my name is Lauren Henry. I am an Assistant Clinical Services Manager for Whiteabbey Nightingale.

Thank you for sharing this positive experience of your care and rehabilitation in Whiteabbey. I will share this with the entire team as learning from patient experience is so important to us. I am glad in the side room you were able to get some fresh air coming in.

I hope you continue to do well with your recovery and sending you warmest wishes.
