About: Enhanced Care / Community Respiratory Care

(as a service user),

May I take the opportunity to say how much I have been depending on this service for the past few years.Without exception , each member of the team has been highly professional , most supportive and encouraging.

I can depend on the team to respond immediately if I get a chest or lung infection. Recently,they have contacted the GP surgery , had proper medication prescribed , the script left with the pharmacist and the first tablets to be taken within hours.This has meant so much to us as we are both in strict quarantine due to Covid restrictions.Various members of the team have checked up on the medication,instructed and supervised exercises and generally remained very willing to help with advice.We owe them a great debt of gratitude.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story and for your kind words about the team and how they respond immediately if you get a chest or lung infection.

I am delighted to hear you have had a very positive experience from the team and each member has been highly professional, most supportive and encouraging in their approach.

It's is lovely to hear they had such a positive impact on you both and have managed to facilitate your management at home by liaising with the GP and getting you the correct prescription. I can fully appreciate this has been of great value in recent times especially as you have been under strict quarantine.

It is very reassuring for the team to know that their input was valued and it will be motivating and encouraging for the whole team.

I will ensure the feedback is shared with my community respiratory team.
