"The service, care and treatment I received"

About: Lauriston Building

(as the patient),

I had to have a procedure on my head where a lump was removed. The doctors and nursing staff were very caring and made the process less worrying from the beginning. Post op I had some concerns and was able to contact the department and discuss these. This was very important as I was then able to have someone see me very quickly. Their expertise made me feel a lot more comfortable than if I was to go to my GP who had no direct link to my case. 

It has been over a month now since the procedure and I have ,when worried about the healing process , been able to contact the nursing staff to discuss my concerns. I have been offered appointments ahead of when I was due to return which again has helped greatly.

The care and service that all the staff have provided has been wonderful and I feel has helped having the continuity of being able to return to the clinic rather than a my GP.

I was especially pleased to read how the staff were able to reassure and support you both before, during and after your procedure, giving you the continuity of care with the people who had been involved.
