"Covid Vaccination"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Vaccination Centre

(as a service user),

I queued for an hour after my vaccination time, most of that standing indoors in a hall with about 60 people all standing on spaced yellow circles but with plenty of aerosol opportunity for spread of infection. If we are to queue it would be better to let people wait outside. There was no concern expressed at the long wait in a space with many people which gave me the impression that perhaps no effort would be made to improve the situation.

Dear Springsun

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am sorry that you experienced a long wait in a busy environment with infection prevention so important at this time.

I will consult with service leadership to look at options for improving wait length and arrangements.

We have made improvements re: Vaccination Centre based on service user feedback to date in terms of signage, directions, parking access and centre flow.

I will post an update to your story to advise of next steps to be taken.

Best wishes

Conor
