The doctor i saw sent me for an x ray, despite my admission being for an MRI , requested by the GP who called the paramedics. The doctor also claimed i was on too much medication, but did not adjust it, leading to further problems after i was allowed home.
I was struggling to get back onto the trolley on which i had been laying, awaiting patient transport home. A passing nurse accused me of lying, claiming i could sit. I told her i was drugged up, still in pain and her response was to walk off instead of helping me back onto the trolley.
I am a Veteran with Chronic widespread pain syndrome after several spinal surgery operations, actually that's irrelevant. I'm a human being, who was taken to the hospital by paramedics at the request of my GP, so it wasn't just me calling for help.
And i was treated DISGRACEFULLY by staff who ignored the referral and especially by a member of the nursing staff who was unprofessional in her attitude of general care towards a patient.
"Poor assessment and lack of patient care"
