"Emergency admission"

About: General Practices in Grampian Raigmore Hospital / General Surgery

(as a relative),

On Monday 1st March was admitted to Ward 5 in a great deal of pain and very nervous about what was going on and on Tuesday had scans blood tests etc and on Wednesday had a spinal operation for a femoral hernia.

I would like to say a huge thank you to surgeons and all theatre staff, also the nurses on Ward 5 who were especially good with my after care and also Greg the Porter who did so much. And last but not least our local doctor Dr Eagle who organised admission and ambulance. Thank you all for being so professional and caring in these stressful times.

Dear Importerkq96,

Thank you for sharing this lovely feedback with us. I work in the Quality Improvement and Assurance Team at NHS Grampian and help share feedback with services - like the GP Practices - who don't always check the Care Opinion platform.

I shared your comments with the Seafield Medical Practice Practice Manager and also Dr Eagle. Dr Eagle was delighted to get a mention and they both agreed your kind words had brightened their day.

I hope you are making good progress with your recovery.

Take care,

Kirsten
