This was my first time under the care of the RBH and it was exemplary. I have a long history of genetic related cardiac interventions. One NSTEMI, six stents and many other treatments and interventions in several hospitals. I think it's reasonable to say that I have seen the good and not so good in the NHS but the Rbh are in my opinion justified in being ranked one of the worlds best in cardiothoracic care. I came in for a Endomidcab and the pre ops were thorough, the surgeons informative, detailed and non patronising. I have known a few surgeons who rush around without paying due care and attention but at the rbh they clearly have care as a priority.
The support staff and step down procedures were thorough and unrushed, and every member of staff that I encountered was enthusiastic and caring.
If I ever have to have another procedure I wouldn't hesitate to nominate the rbh if I had a preference.
"Best care I've had in many years"
