"Excellent adolescent care"

I attended the RVI with my fifteen year old daughter yesterday - following an accident. She received exemplary care from arrival in children’s A and E to discharge from the surgical children’s day ward (Ward 8). I was particularly impressed with the plastic surgery and Claremont theatre teams. They took great care to speak directly to my daughter in language that she could understand. She was very nervous about her surgical procedure under local anaesthetic but the team looked after her so well that she found the whole experience really positive. Well done for providing completely age appropriate care.
