Because urgent care handed me over to A/E clerk and I then got forgotten and sat for over 3 hours in A/E waiting for blood tests and an ENT bed. I felt very unwell as I had a high fever and could not swallow and could not talk and managed to catch member of staffs attention who found out that A/E had not booked me after after the urgent care Doctor gave them my form. I was then quickly put onto a trolley and given pain relief and cannula in very quickly before going up to ward of which ENT were waiting for me.
