"Disappointing "

About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary

Attended MAU (maternity assessment unit) on 26/02/2021 due to reduced movement and pain in lower stomach. I was 34 weeks pregnant so it is a very scary time of pregnancy.

I arrived about 7:30 and got a horrible lady who shouted at me because I didn’t understand what she meant when asking me a question. Then they swapped staff and I was left with another lady who then stood outside the room I was in and told a doctor who was coming to see me what the problem was her words were ‘she isn’t happy with the HCG’ and the doctor and her started laughing and talking saying it’s a machine why not be happy? This made me feel very uncomfortable and I’ll not be very reluctant on returning if I ever have these worry’s again due to them making me feel uncomfortable. In a place like that you should feel more than comfortable attending because they tell you to go their if you have any tiny concern.

Such a shame.!
