"Orthopaedic surgery"

About: Borders General Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics (Ward 9)

(as a service user),

I was unfortunate enough to need a minor orthopaedic procedure carried out and as a result spent a night in ward 9.   All the staff involved in my care were excellent.   In spite of being busy they always had time to check I was ok, or to make a friendly comment on passing.   I felt that I was without doubt being cared for by the staff on the ward as   well as the physiotherapist.   Even with the added restrictions of COVID there was nothing that I felt could have been done to improve my care.

Am delighted to hear your brief visit to ward 9 was a positive experience during these strange times. I am reassured to hear you felt you received adequate care from our multi disciplinary team. I hope your continuing to recover well from your surgery and wishing you a speedy recovery. Take care.
