About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Endoscopy and day care Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Surgical Assessment Unit

(as the patient),

I had been to my GP with no energy, struggling to eat and in immense pain. I got referred to surgical assessment unit then transferred to ward B11.

I cannot commend enough all the staff on ward B11 with their prompt treatment and caring approach. The domestic staff and auxillaries were always on form and the clinical response from the doctors and nurses was outstanding. I cannot praise them highly enough!

The only negative was when 'agency' staff were on during nights as they were unable to fully assist ward staff with resultant delays in treatment later on during the night.

I went in feeling like I was seriously ill, got promptly treated and feel the staff should be recognised!
