"Attending A&E"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Xrays and Scans

(as a service user),

I attended A&E following my GPs advice for a facial droop on the left hand side of my face.  All staff I encountered were professional, caring and reassuring from when I first booked in, to Stuart within the A&E department and Dr Ramsey from the stroke team.  I had 2 CT scans and an MRI all within one day and feel very fortunate to live near a hospital that has such good resources and the set-up that enabled this.

Staff clearly communicated the findings and investigations I was having.
I was reassured by the high infection control within the hospital and felt Covid secure.

Dear composerma36

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to the time you spent in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital A & E Department and the X-Ray and Scans Department.

It was nice to hear how all the staff you encountered were professional, caring and treated you with dignity.

It was also comforting to hear the staff communicated their findings and investigations with you throughout your journey and you were made to feel at ease.

I will be sure to pass on your comments to the staff involved who I'm sure will be delighted to hear your feedback in this difficult time.

Kind regards

Kevin
