My little boy was admitted to ward 2C RHC. he became ill quickly and we were admitted straight from resus to commence IV antibiotics, steroids and painkillers before he would undergo close observation. Our nurse Laura admitted us, took the time to explain what was happening and why and what the plan would be in the coming days. She was warm and comforting, nothing was too much of an effort- she made sure we were well looked after! A credit to the team, thank you for looking after us during our stay you made us feel at ease. The night shift were fantastic too, Beth and Angie were very friendly also

Dear Annieb1,

Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. You must have been very worried about your little boy when he was so poorly and we're so thankful that he received the prompt care and treatment that he needed.

We were delighted to read of the support provided to you by Laura, Beth and Angie, and that you felt warmly cared for. Our Senior Management Team have made sure to pass on your thanks to nurses above, as well as their own thanks to the team - we are truly fortunate to have such caring and compassionate colleagues.

We sincerely hope your little boy is now so much better, and is recovering well at home, and would once again, like to thank you for your time in sharing your experience of care.
