My 14 year old son was brought in to the Victoria hospital on Friday morning after an incident, the staff in A& E were fantastic very professional and caring, we were then taken to the children’s ward where I have to praise all of the staff who are an absolute credit to NHS Fife, the one nurse who stood out and couldn’t do enough for myself and my son was the charge nurse of the children’s ward Sharon, this lady was everything a nurse should be caring compassionate with a great sense of humour who put my son at ease straight away, I can’t thank her enough for being her and making us both smile at a worrying time. Thank you Sharon x

Thank you so much for the very positive feedback about your recent experience in the Children's Ward, the team there really do strive to make the environment feel as safe and welcoming as possible for children and their families and will all be delighted by your kind words.

In particular thank you for highlighting the great work done by Sharon the Senior Charge Nurses there who will be delighted to hear that her words and actions helped to make a positive difference to your difficult situation.
