"Great practice"

I would like to give some feedback re Beechwood surgery Thornton Cleveleys.

I moved to this area about two and a half years ago from an excellent GP practice we had been registered with for the past 40 years.

Having received such fantastic care over those years the thought of changing Doctors after so long was worrying.

We had no choice as we had moved 50 miles away so we registered at Beechwood GP surgery close to where we now live in Thornton Cleveleys.

Thankfully, I have to say there was no need to have any worries.

The care my wife and I have received over the past two and a half years has been exceptional

The practice is small with one doctor and a locum but this in no way seems to affect the care provided by this practice

Every person I have met in the Beechwood team have been really helpful. This includes the caring professional nurses and the kind and understanding reception team.

From the way we have been treated with some of the ailments you inevitably tend to get in advancing years I am confident we are in safe hands.

There seems also to have been a totally efficient rollout of the COVID-19 jab conducted by the Beechwood team to the practice’s patients. (Which some of the beechwood team have been hands on, administering).

In summery and to enable future patients to make choices.

I would highly recommend this practice and its team for the following reasons

1) The excellent care we have received from the practice

2) The expertise and care taken by all the team to decide on the urgency and treatment required.

3) Also, the accommodating way this treatment is provided.

4) The caring and helpful attitude of the reception staff and back room team.

5) The professional and caring nurses

6) The faultless precautions taken by the practice to contain COVID-19 with the least disruption to its patients

I feel I must thank you all at Beechwood surgery for your wonderful dedication and care over the past 2 and a half years.

I also include everyone else in our wonderful NHS that risk their lives for the rest of us.
