"Brilliant attention from Reception to Consultant."

I attended A&E on Friday 19th at about 16:30 having been advised to attend by my GP with symptoms of Atrial Fibrillation. From my arrival at reception, via the triage nurses and onto the major ward, everyone was absolutely superb and all were calm and reassuring. I’m just sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names but hopefully they will see this. The doctors and nurses all explained exactly what was going on and I was treated promptly which enabled me to leave for home at about 20:30. I am unable to find anything to be critical of.

My wife has recently been treated for breast cancer and my experience echoes the standard of treatment she has received. We are so lucky to live close enough to RD&E to be able benefit from their tremendous levels of care. Thank you.
