About: Burnley General Hospital

I was admitted to Ward 15 for total hip replacement on 15/2 /21 and from the start could not fault the level of care and professionalism of all the staff involved. Right from the dedicated entrance through to discharge. Covid has been a difficult time for NHS and despite a long wait for the surgery ( not at all your fault) every measure was taken by the staff to make the stay as safe and secure as possible. I must admire the dedication of the staff and their commitment to ensure the wellbeing of their patients. I am now well on the way to recovery and give my heartfelt thanks to all the staff. To anyone woried about coming into this hospital for surgery dont be put off they certainly have got all the angles covered. Once again thanks.
