"My mum who has to have insulin and has dementia"

About: Community Nursing Services / Rushcliffe Community Nursing

(as a relative),

The care my mum has received from the nurses have been brilliant. They are so caring and understanding. They talk her through how to do her insulin, some days she doesn't need help but other days she does which is due to her dementia. I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Gemma. She has gone out of her way to help us and she is such a kind and friendly person. My mum can be down in the dumps but when Gemma comes she seems so much happier. Thank you soooooo much.

Hi Galaxyviv,

Thank you for taking the time to share you and your mums experiences. I'm so pleased to hear your mum is doing so well with her insulin injections.

I will pass on your positive comments to Gemma and the community nursing team.

Thanks again

Sarah
