"Extremely unwelcoming appointment"

About: Wycombe Hospital

I have to say very sadly that the phlebotomists have no bedside manor at all, mine disappeared, didn't even great me just said " sit in the chair" didn't even communicate through the entire procedure except for 2 phrases, name and date of birth, from preparation time, to shoving the needle in my arm, which was quite painful, to finishing the job, she didn't even say goodbye.. I seriously felt so unwelcome and I work in the care community and that is 100% not acceptable. You are just a number! Might as well been a robot..m

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments on this website.

I am sorry to read of the unfriendly attitude you have experienced with the phlebotomist who attended to you at Wycombe Hospital, during these difficult times.

I would be very grateful if you could contact the Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) on 01296 316042 to talk about your specific experience, and to see how we may be able to assist you at this time.

Kind regards

Anthony Banton
