About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department University Hospital Hairmyres / General Surgery (Ward 5) University Hospital Hairmyres / Surgical Receiving Unit (Ward 4)

(as a service user),

From the point of admission (with a very serious condition) I was made to feel safe, respected and involved in every part of my care.

Especially at the hands of Nurses Claire, Lynn and all other MDT members. I was terrified and anxious. At every stage I was listened to and given prompt care.

I also give a special mention to Dr Miller and Dr mhukarjee, who took time to reassure and rexplain how I would be supported. 

In these extremely challenging times for the NHS I was left feeling well informed and relieved.  A huge Thanks to these superheroes to whom I owe my life. God bless and preserve you all šŸ™šŸ’žā¤ļø

Dear piscesmk47

Thank you very much for posting such kind comments around the care and treatment you received from staff at University Hospital Hairmyres during your recent admission. It can be a worrying time being in hospital, especially during the current pandemic and I was so pleased to read that you felt involved in your care. I'm sure this was very reassuring not only to you but also your relatives.
