"Fantastic service and care"

About: St James's University Hospital

I was admitted to A&E about 8.30am. After assessment in A&E, scans etc. and surgical assessment, I had an emergency abdominal operation at 9pm. I awoke on Ward 46 where I spent 6 days, then moved to Ward 84 where I spent a further 6 days. Throughout that time I received the most professional treatment and care from all members of staff, medical, surgical and ancillary workers. I cannot praise the whole service enough. I will be returning to Outpatients at some point as I know I am likely to need further treatment.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us.

Your post is wonderful to read and I am extremely pleased that you had such a pleasant experience whilst in our care.

I am delighted to know that our services are delivering a level of care that met your needs and fulfilled all your expectations.

I have passed your lovely kind words onto A&E, J46 and J84 for them to share with the teams.

With kindest regards
