"So grateful"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus

I am so grateful to the oncology team for continuing to provide my treatment through these difficult times. The only difficulty that Covid has caused is in parking. We are usually able to park in the small car park next to the large oxygen cylinders as turnover is quick. But due to there now being no charge it is usually full of staff cars who only move at lunchtime and end of day. Meaning patients have further to walk from a more distant car park.

Thank you for your kind words for the oncology team. I am sorry to hear that you have experienced difficulties in parking close to the clinic, and that this may have been as a result of the actions of staff. We are continually looking at how we can improve parking for patients, visitors and staff, in addition we have resumed charging for parking from 11 January this year. I hope that on your next visit to our hospital you see an improvement in accessibility, but please contact our Patient Experience Team at QMCPET@nuh.nhs.uk if you continue to experience difficulties.
