"Giving birth & aftercare"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as the patient),

I gave birth to my first baby in November 2020. The birth did not go as planned and was quite traumatic however the care I received from Dr Saleh was wonderful. He made me feel confident when he was delivering my baby and the aftercare was amazing. I suffered quite a severe tear and Dr Saleh visited me while I was in hospital and phoned me regularly to check on how I was doing. I have recovered very well from my birth and recently had a check up at my local GP who was very happy and impressed with how well I was doing. I can’t thank Dr Saleh enough. Many thanks.

Update posted by Hello1987 (the patient)

Hello, thank you so much for getting back to me. I spoke to Dr Saleh this morning who was doing a follow up phone call with me and it was not him who actually delivered my baby. I wasn’t sure of his name but Dr Saleh knew his name and said he will pass on my thanks to him.

Kind regards.

Hi Hello 1987,

Glad to hear you and you little one are doing well!

Dr Ainharan Raveendran got in touch today to say he'd received your message. It was he who delivered your baby and did your follow up calls. He would like to thank you for your kind words and said it was a pleasure to care for you both.

Take care and enjoy,

Kirsten
